Parker M. Wornall
Parker Wornall represents both corporate and individual clients through a wide-scope of litigations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings including, among other areas: Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and KY Wage & Hour collective action prosecution and defense; wrongful termination of employment cases, often including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (and state-law equivalents); litigation involving restrictive covenants (non-compete and non-solicitation) and trade secret misappropriation under the KY Uniform Trade Secrets Act and the Federal Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016; licensure defense before state boards, such as the KY Board of Nursing (KBN) and KY Board of Medical Licensure (KBML); administrative hearings before the many subsets of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) and subsequent appellate petitions to circuit court, when necessary; and “whistleblower” actions. Mr. Wornall also helps his corporate clients avoid litigation by providing general counsel services such as business formation, contract drafting, and internal dispute resolution.
Mr. Wornall attended Western Kentucky University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, with Honors, double majoring in Political Science and International Affairs. During his undergraduate years, Mr. Wornall was an active member of the Kappa Alpha Order, serving as President in his sophomore year and Chaplain in the years thereafter. Mr. Wornall received his J.D. from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA. During law school, he was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Board and competition teams, as well as the Journal of Global Justice and Public Policy where he had a paper selected for publication.
